Avenue Lofts in the Downtown Austin MLS
Formerly a state office building, at one time this building was home to the Bureau of Vital Statistics State Department of Health. Converted into residences in 1999, the Avenue Lofts is a mid-rise four-story building located in the heart of Downtown Austin's entertainment district. Constructed in the '40s with a distinct art-deco style architecture, the building now houses 39 condominiums. The Avenue Lofts are one of Austin's few adaptive reuse buildings and keep very true to the 'loft' essence. Many of the concrete columns show their history and lend each unit a unique charm that only a historic building can provide.
